Our events are cashless. You can either purchase a ticket on webtickets or pay by card at the door.
Sort your selected clothes and bring up to 10 items.
Our required standard entails no stains, a perfect zipper, no missing buttons and the garment to be ironed. There must be no ball tufts, it mustn’t look over-worn and all the stitching must be intact. Garments will be accepted at the discretion of the company. WE DO NOT ACCEPT T-shirt material.
We do not accept accessories, hats, worn socks or underwear. We do not accept bulk of knitted scarves (We know this is an unusual thing to write on our website, but you’d be surprised what people bring) Pajamas are accepted at the discretion of the company. We do not accept T-shirt material or any brands from Pick n Pay clothing. Pick n Pay clothing is good quality brand-new but more fragile being second-hand, were not sure how long the quality will last in fellow swappers wardrobes.
Yes, we do accept menswear. However for the time being, we do not keep it on our floor.
If your garment does not meet the standard required, you have two options: to take it home or to put it in our donation box which we send to fabric recycling companies or donate to charities.
All The Swap Movement Stock has security tags on them which will be removed at check out. We will but that “flier” garment in a paper bag at the door with your unique customer number on, so when you check out, you can take your flier.
Yes they will! Every customer has their own unique barcode which when scanned, shows the number of credits remaining from the previous event.
Bring enough clothes as a safety net to be able to swap out the amount of clothes you might like from our selection. We do not do lay byes and we do not allow purchases of clothes on our floor under any circumstances.
No, you can not get money back for your credits.
If you are planning on hosting 100 people or more there is no booking fee and entrance fee per head remains the same. We will also refund you 20% of our profit. If you are planning on hosting 30 people or more, there is no booking fee and entrance fee per head remains the same.
If there are less than 20-30 people, we charge a booking fee of R300 + R140 entrance per head.
If there are less than 20 people, we charge a booking fee of R500 + R140 entrance per head.
If there are less than 10 people, we charge a booking fee of R1200 + R140 entrance per head.
Catering is included at an extra cost. Please send us an enquiry about our different catering packages.
